أطلق مجمع سار يوم السبت الموافق 29 أكتوبر 2016 فعاليته (One Pink Link) تزامناً باليوم العالمي لحملة التوعية للكشف المبكر ضد سرطان الثدي.
وكما قامت بتنظيم هذه الفعالية التوعوية والخيرية نورة المهنا صاحبة مركز قريس لتمكين المرأة بالمشاركة مع مجمع سار.
وافتتحت الفعالية سعادة الدكتورة فاطمة البلوشي، وقد شاركت في إلقاء كلمة تطرقت من خلالها لعدة محاور حول ضرورة توعية المجتمع لهذا المرض الخطير في جميع أنحاء العالم والبحرين خاصة.
ومن جهتها شاركت الدكتورة تهاني توفيق بكلمة حثت بها الحاضرين على عمل الفحوصات بشكل مستمر لتفادي تطور هذا المرض.
كما شارك العديد من الشخصيات منهم من أصيب بهذا المرض و منهم من شفي منه. وتم توزيع العديد من المنشورات على الحاضرين للتوعية حول ضرورة الالتزام بالفحوصات الدورية ومعرفة أسبابه وحلوله والتصدي له.
أختتمت الفعالية بكلمة من مديرة مجمع سار شيرين حسن بوخوة التي أشادت بحرصها على إقامة هذه الفعالية لكل عام في مجمع سار، وقد شكرت الحضور والعاملين على هذا العمل الخيري الذي يرفع من شأن البحرين وحضارتها بين الدول، وتابعت في حديثها عن دور إدارة المجمع بالعمل ووصفته بأكثر من رائع من ناحية التنظيم والترتيب لهذه الفعالية.
مجموع التبرعات لهذا الحدث الخيري هو أكثر من 2000 دينار بحريني والتي ستمنح لجمعية البحرين لمكافحة السرطان و ثنك بنك بحرين.

Breast Cancer Charity Event – One Pink Link was launched on Saturday, October 29, 2016 to coincide with International awareness month for early detection against breast cancer.
In collaboration with Saar Mall this awareness and charitable event was organized by Noora Al-Muhanna founder of grace 6/10 Women Empowerment.
The event was opened by Her Excellency Dr. Fatima Al Balushi, former Minister of Health. HE speech touched on several themes about the need to educate the community to this dangerous disease, Moreover Dr. Tahany Tawfiq- Psycologist word urged the attendees on the importance of early detection test in order to avoid the development of this disease.
Cancer Survivors also participated by sharing their experience to the attendees and their struggle in overcoming the disease. Numerous pamphlets were distributed to attendees to raise awareness about the need to adhere to periodic tests and find out causes and solutions to overcome the disease.
The event was concluded by the manager of the mall Shirin Hassan Bokhowa which praised adhering to the establishment of this event each year in Saar Mall, she has thanked the audience and organizers for working on this charitable work, which raises the profile of Bahrain and its civilization among nations, and followed in her speech about the role of the mall management work, calling it wonderful in terms of organizing and arranging of this event.
Total donations to this charity event is more than 2000 BD, which will be awarded to the Bahrain Cancer Society and Think Pink Bahrain.
